The Charismatic Episcopal church was so named via prayer and consensus. We are not affiliated with the Episcopal Church of North America, but rather are named as we are because the church needs Charismatic bishops! Episcopi is plural greek for Bishop/overseer and this office of the apostolic and historical church is vital to the authority and function of the church. Charismatic bishops are the scriptural mandate for this position and are men guided by the Holy Spirit. We don’t need the most studied or accredited, we need Spirit-Led Bishops.
